Gabriele’s path is rooted in a genuine passion for agriculture, which he came to because of a visceral call to work in the fields where he went as a child with his grandfather.

He undertook his studies in agriculture, specializing in oenology studies, and then spent his early years working in Serrapetrona, where he had ways of learning in depth about Vernaccia Nera.

A crucial chapter of his career is marked by his collaboration with some of the most internationally respected winemakers where he was able to refine a method of analysis and precision, learning to read the potential of each individual vineyard.

This experience has allowed him to deal with high-profile winemaking realities, consolidating technical expertise ranging from agronomic management, Cellar wine production, environmental sustainability, and production layout design.

Gabriele Bovari has chosen not to limit himself to national borders, embarking on a path of growth through work abroad. His professional travels have led him to get his hands dirty in diametrically opposed contexts in the New and Old Worlds.

Today Gabriele works as a consulting winemaker, collaborating with a number of Cellars, and his activity is a perpetual motion that aims to enhance the unique identity of each territory.
