Marco Menghini, was born in Ancona in 1962. He graduated in Agricultural Sciences from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Perugia in 1988. In 1990 he obtained the license to practice as a doctor of agriculture. A member of the Regional Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Marche, he served as its president pro-tempore from 2015 to 2019. He has also previously held the positions of President pro-tempore of the Order of Agronomists and Foresters of the Province of Ancona and of the Federation of the Orders of Agronomists and Foresters of Marche.

Freelance Agronomist Doctor since 1990 is currently co-owner of an Agricultural and Forestry Consulting Associate Firm based in Ancona – Italy.

He is a designer and consultant in the Agronomic, Forestry and Environmental fields and collaborates with public and private companies, public agencies, universities and other scientific research institutions.

Expert in viticulture and oenology, collaborates with the most important wineries in Marche. Consultant and planner in the conception and implementation of new agricultural and agri-food realities also with public and private financial instruments (OCM Vino, PSR, other).

Consultant and designer of public and private greenery and in land use planning.

Expert in agricultural and ornamental phytoiology and evaluation of pathophysiological and mechanical conditions of large field, ornamental and public and private green plants.

A scientific popularizer, from 2005 to 2018 he was a Scientific Advisor and co-host on RAI UNO’s program, “LINEA VERDE.”

He participates in numerous episodes of RAI programs “GEO and GEO” and “Uno Mattina” as a scientific expert and popularizer.
